Fans LOVE the Minecraft franchise. It’s full of world-building, learning, exploration and tokens. There is something exciting about watching your single player avatar, build blocks on an open-ended world or… find ores.

You’ve heard the news! Next month, Minecraft PS5 Physical Edition is coming to the Minecraft Marketplace and Best Buy. While the news is exciting, we know fans can buy it for $30 but get a $20 bonus. Moreover, the Best Buy purchase comes with a $5 gift card.

While we wait for Minecraft PS5 Physical Edition, we can still enjoy the Minecraft Education release on iOS, Windows and Android. Also, the game releases on October 22nd. We will keep a watch on any upcoming news and inform our fans.

In our summer sales this PortConMaine 2024, we continue with our Comic-Con Trends badge. Fans LOVE our DC Day Explained: Why Wonder Woman Beats Supergirl Any Day! article. It’s got #supergirl’s new origin Post-Crisis, the New 52 H’el on Earth storyline and even a reference to The Omac Project! And it features Superman/Batman: Supergirl, set in the mainstream DC Universe.

FAVORITE BOOSTER GOLD MOMENT

In the news, the football-jock-turned-time-traveler-hero called Booster Gold appeared when a new series was announced in the #dc-universe. While no actor has been cast, the project is currently in development.

Importantly, Booster Gold is known among fans as the time traveler from the future who foretold #superman’s death. Moreover, when a Kryptonian creature surfaces in America, it is Booster Gold who names it #doomsday.

Since the Justice League Unlimited series, Booster Gold has grown in popularity. During the episode The Greatest Story Never Told, Booster Gold actually becomes a hero and falls in love with S.T.A.R. Labs physicist Dr. Tracy Simmons.

Over the years, fans have loved the portrayal of Booster Gold and his pairing with Blue Beetle as a cheerful duo. In The Greatest Story Never Told, the episode ends with Booster Gold going on a date with Dr. Simmons. Reminding us why we have loved the hero.

WAG REACHES AN AGREEMENT… 2024 SAG-AFTRA STRIKE SUSPENDED

UPDATE: SAG-AFTRA strike with negotiations over a possible agreement.

UPDATE: On July 26th 2024, SAG-AFTRA called a strike on July 26 at 12:01 a.m against video game companies in an attempt to renegotiate its Interactive Media Agreement. Source: DEADLINE

Recently in the news, SAG-AFTRA has been on strike since July 14th 2023. At issue, the writers, artists and actors of Hollywood took immediate action after negotiations over residuals broke down with Hollywood executives.

Recently, WAG reached a tentative three-year agreement with studio executives in Hollywood regarding AI and writers’ room staffing levels.

Though SAG-AFTRA is still on strike, the agreement is a positive step towards ending the strikes and resuming Hollywood productions. We think some important work has been made and will follow this story.

The Equalizer 3 + Rotten Tomatoes

Really, The Equalizer 3 may be the movie that diehard fans LOVE. As the conclusion to the trilogy, the movie has been certified fresh. And Denzel Washington continues to amaze audiences with his performance.

Really, I think the movie is worth-watching and a welcome change of pace from this year’s movies. My first impressions are that the movie does the same things very well.

In other news, we unfortunately found out about the manipulation of Rotten Tomatoes by a PR firm these past 5 years. While Vulture has given some specifics, we think there is more to it than has been disclosed. Though we think this scandal will have serious repercussions for Hollywood movies and how we purchase our entertainment moving forward. Really, we think Hollywood is in trouble and also with the strikes.

We will keep an eye on this story since we think it is potentially explosive.
