This Animate! Raleigh 2024, we begin our winter sales with a titanic battle. In Avengers (1969) #70, the Squadron Sinister created by the Grandmaster makes its first appearance against the Avengers. Though Thor wins against Hyperion, the fighter has been shown as Thor’s toughest foe, and has been admitted to be stronger. In their battle, Thor wins by incapacitation with his hammer.

During the Battle Ranker, we had fans vote on Thor vs Hyperion. In the Battle Ranker, we have listed all their major fights which Thor has won with or without help. Also, there are multiple versions of Hyperion. In our list, we have the Earth-616 facsimile and the Earth-712 version.

For the most part, all versions of Hyperion have shown to be stronger or as strong as Thor. For example, Hyperion is capable of catching Thor’s hammer and stunning the Thunder God with a blow. THOR MOMENT

In the news this year, we learnt that Thor 5 is in production with a more powerful villain than Thor has ever faced.

Indeed, #thor has been an Avenger and a protector of the Nine Realms throughout the years. Importantly, the Thunder God has struggled with worthiness and powerful villains especially since War of Realms.

In Thor: The Devourer King (2020), the Thunder God is finally King of Asgard. However, he must contend with the Black Winter and become Herald of Galactus. Also, Thor suffers from worthiness as Mjolnir feels heavier in his hands.

In a harrowing moment during Donny Cates run, the Black Winter rots Yggdrasil, the World Tree that represents the Nine Realms Thor is sworn to protect. Certainly, it shows the scale of the danger the Herald of Thunder faces with Galactus.

Truly a decisive moment with the Thunder God at the height of his popularity in fandom.

In the cosmic battle of the fall, we want to know who is The Most Powerful: Captain Universe or Tri-Sentinel? In our battle preview, when #spider-man becomes Captain Universe with the Enigma Force, he must fight Tri-Sentinel.

One of the most popular stories that led to the change of the Spider-Man status quo and his involvement with the X-men. Though the outcome of the battle is even, we can see Captain Universe defeating Tri-Sentinel.

We think Captain Universe with the Enigma Force is more than a match for Tri-Sentinel, though the robot is nearly indestructible. Though a more experienced Spider-Man would fare much better!

Nonetheless, though Spider-Man had been a loner he has fought alongside the Avengers throughout the years. Importantly, the wall-crawler has also had scuffles against multiple teams including the #avengers and the X-Men.

In Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars (1984), the godlike being named Beyonder brings #spiderman and the heroes to do battle against the villains on Battleworld. In all-out battles, skirmishes and factions, #captain-america leads the heroes against Doctor Doom and his forces.

With the heroes finally turning the tide at Doombase, Spider-Man makes the discovery that will change his life. When he encounters the alien symbiote in a room, he bonds to it and fashions his black costume.

Truly a life-changing moment with the wall-crawler at the height of his popularity in comics.
