This Women’s History Month, we continue our spring sales with a team-wrecking battle. In the Justice (2006) Elseworlds, the Legion of Doom attacks the Justice League of America and blames them for failing to save the world. In Justice (2006) #5, Bizarro, Solomon Grundy, Parasite and Metallo bring #superman to near death.
In our Battles Of The Week: Captain Marvel (Shazam) vs The Legion Of Doom (Hero vs Team), Captain Marvel defeats the four Legion of Doom members quickly. With a Stellar-Level Strength Class, the World’s Mightiest Mortal is more than a match for the Legion of Doom. Though the team is ranked Brawler in Formidability, it was able to defeat Superman through Weakness Exploitation.
These reasons explain that in the limited series, Captain Marvel is able to defeat the Legion of Doom with Super Speed and a superior Super Strength which is capable of matching Superman. Thus, he would definitely not need the help of the #justice-league in order to fight the Legion of Doom members who are limited in Intelligence.
Importantly, Justice (2007) #12 was a Top 10 best-seller in August 2007.
